      Look. First, you shouldn't have called before the flop with that hand, it's a little bit weak. Second, in the river you should have bet more money, more or less the 3/4 of the current pot.
      But hey! it's my opinion :D

      P/D: Pardon for my english.

      Preflop = Into the muck.
      Flop = Into the muck.
      Turn = Call
      River = Raise more.

      maybe yes u could be more aggressive when the river made your straight,
      but i mean preflop they should have been gone, thats maybe forgivable but post flop u called half the pot with two over cards on the board and needing runner runner for any kind of hand.

      turned out ok this time but i would have ditched them post flop.
      defo more agg though next time, nothing to silly u not got the nuts but half that pot maybe.

      Try not to think of it as "only one penny". There's a lot of bad habits you can develop at the micros if the stakes you are playing are not monetarily important to you. The sooner you recognize that poker chips are just chips, tools you use in the poker battle, the better.

      Also the topic of how to play the blinds has been completely ignored on PokerStrategy.com. We really need some solid articles on it.

      Edit: Nevermind, I see there are some in the Gold section. I'll read those in a few weeks. :D

      to reinforce what tokyoaces wrote: it is not the moneytary value of the chips that is important but more the size of the pot. if you overbet or underbet you generlly make a mistake as you potentially make weker hand fold more than usual or give better hand value (as they would be the only one thatwould call you).

      there are obviously exception to everything and insome case with particular read it is better to over or under bet.
