      If villain is a shorty I just fold preflop. If you don't want to give up just raise him and make him decide if he wants to play for his stack. I would chose a different hand for that purpose though, something that has more equity than JT - low suited aces, medium offsuited aces, good kings and so on.

      Calling is bad as you hit a top pair once in three cases and still it might not be good enough. If you don't hit you have to fold to his cbet cause there's no space for you to outplay him postflop with his stacksize.

      against loose opponent I think call pf is fine, although you can fold there
      After you hit top pair you should play for stacks and best to do that is c/r flop and get all-in.
