      Open raise preflop first in.

      As played I think raising is fine as long as it's for value, if you're raise/folding here it's horrible. Ideally you want to raise an amount that is not cheap enough for him to bet/call crap that might outdraw you, while still giving him some rope to potentially jam overcards over. I think 3x is probably better than 4x for that purpose.

      You can also call the flop with the intention of not folding on anything if you know he barrels the turn a lot too, depends how well you know his turn tendencies.
