      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.50(BB) Replayer
      SB ($45.33)
      BB ($8.50)
      UTG ($63.65)
      UTG+1 ($67.57)
      UTG+2 ($10.52)
      CO ($15.75)
      Hero ($10)

      Dealt to Hero A:spade: 8:club:

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $1.50, fold, BB raises to $8.50 (AI), Hero ???

      Vilain resteals 22% from BB.
Against that range I have 44,5% equity assuming the standard Equilator range:
      55+, A3s+, K8s+, QTs+, A7o+, A5o, K9o+, QJo

If I fill in the values in Xarry's chart, it would be a fold.
      Pot 10,25
      effective Stack 8,5
      Deadmoney 0,25
      Equity 44,50%
      Foldequity 0,00%
      Blind/Bet 0,00
      EV -0,82

Did I fill in the correct values in the chart?
Is there a other/better way to determine the range of villain?

I think the one above is better ( Pot Odds => Equity calculator)

      So a range of this
      22+, A2s+, K9s+, K5s, QJs, Q6s, J3s, 98s, A7o+, KJo+
me and xarry2 found a better one

you see Q6s,j3s,98s,k5s for the times he has a random bluff - semibluff with SCs in it, it represents a small % of his range due combos

you need 42% and you have 43% so i would call this. Thing is you cant put this guy on an exact range once again, it depends on your own ats

Also I dont really like raising 3x against this dude

In blind steals you just use pot odds for easier/quicker calculation?
The pot is $10,25 and I have to call a extra $7 so that gives me 40,5% equity needed to call (without rake). Your 42% is rake included?

Are Xarry2 and your ranges somewhere in the articles or on the forum?

How do we estimate our own ATS? My overall ATS ~25% and PFR CO is ~35%. But ofcourse that is opponent dependant. From CO Against this guy I would steal something like:
      25% 44+, A4s+, K9s+, QTs+, JTs, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, A6o+, K9o+, QTo+, JTo

      But does he know that?...
According to the steal re-steal articles he should re-steal:
      Against 35% A8o+, A6s+,KJo+, KTs+,66+ => A8o has 37%
      Against 25% ATo+, A8s+,KQs,77+ => A8o has 29%

This would mean a fold after all or not?

You don't like to raise 3x because he resteals loose? So steal 4x against loose restealers so we need less equity to call? In this example it would reduce the required equity to 37,7% (ex rake). This would mean I could even call a re-steal with 78s (which gives 38% equity against 25% or 42% against 22+, A2s+, K9s+, K5s, QJs, Q6s, J3s, 98s, A7o+, KJo+). If he is good he must/will tighten up.

It doesnt make sense to use the EV calculator if you dont have FEQ, like everything becomes '-ev suddenly'

Well you can see how active you were on your table and keep track of your own AVG. ATS and adjust that with 5-10% down or upwards.

Fact is also that 13 out of 58 times, he 3bet as a resteal but I think he is loose enough if he plays against a fellow shortie

I would minriase or 2.5x OTB here since doing 4x or 3x would only result in you folding more despite the fact that it is true you need 'less' equity but that doesn't catch up with the amount of folds hence an extra 1bb loss you make everytime u fold.

Please use the 'let the judge have another look at it feature' next time ;)
