Final Pot: $1.85

Wow, QQ in the big blind and almost the whole table limps in. Pushed for fold equity...OK? Standard raise would've been $2.75 or so...

Hand 2:
No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed)

Hero ($5)
CO ($20.55)
Button ($15.65)

BB ($29.30)

Flop: ($2.35) A:diamond: , K:club: , J:club: [color:#0000FF](2 players)
[color:#CC3333]Hero bets $1.5, Button calls $1.50.

Turn: ($5.35) 3:diamond: [color:#0000FF](2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

River: ($5.35) A:spade: [color:#0000FF](2 players)
Hero checks, [color:#CC3333]Button bets $1.25, Hero calls $1.25.

Final Pot: $7.85

My question here is about the river. 5:1 odds to call, right? So was the call OK, or should I have just folded? I figured a busted draw or a bluff was a possibility.

Hand 3:
No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed)

Hero ($5)
MP1 ($19.30)
MP2 ($25.70)
CO ($10.45)
Button ($26.45)
SB ($8.30)
BB ($4.40)
UTG ($30.65)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q:diamond: , Q:spade: .
[color:#CC3333]UTG raises to $0.5, [color:#CC3333]Hero raises to $2, [color:#666666]5 folds, BB calls $1.75, UTG folds.

Flop: ($4.60) 8:heart: , 4:heart: , 2:spade: [color:#0000FF](2 players)
BB checks, [color:#CC3333]Hero bets $3 (All-In), BB calls $2.40 (All-In).

Turn: ($9.40) 3:diamond: [color:#0000FF](2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($9.40) 5:spade: [color:#0000FF](2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $9.40

Results in white below: [color:#FFFFFF]
BB has 8c 6c (straight, six high).
Hero has Qd Qs (one pair, queens).
Outcome: BB wins $9.40. Hero wins $0.60.

No question on this hand...it was just a gem I had to share. I made a nice note on this idiot. Calls my preflop raise with 86s, calls my c-bet because he hit top pair on a really low board, and then hits a runner runner straight to beat my Q's

Hi Kknight!

Hand 1: Nice hand! You would have to put in more than half of your stack to raise so an all-in is the correct play.

Hand 2: I would fold on the river. You only beat a bluff and that small river bet from villain looks like a sneaky value bet to me.

Hand 3: Nice hand! Just bad luck!

Good luck at the tables!

Good call Puschkin...he had KTo. Don't I only need to win ~17% of the time to break even on that call? Or am I figuring that wrong?

Thanks,

No, you are right. If you are getting 5:1 odds to call you need to win ~17% to break even.

Good luck at the tables!
