      Villain's play here really confused me because he has very solid stats on large sample size. It didn't make any sense without history at all, so I assumed that he had been observing how BU and myself had been engaging in some quite aggressive pre-flop exchanges and that he might attempt a move with his pocket pair on a favourable flop. I however hit my top pair and the rest is history.

      What do you make of this, however? What range do you give him here? I can see him on pretty much any pocket pair with the background in mind, and it's the only way I can make any sense of his play.
