      The only way i see you get out of there is if you bet/fold the turn, but given the money already in there and villain's stats i'm not sure you can confidently assume he's never raising a top pair on the turn and thus fold. I'd probably end up bet/calling it and calling it a cooler, unless i was convinced he never ever shoves some kind of draw or Qx over a turn bet.

      If you think he will bet Qx and draws/floats alike on the turn when checked to it's fine to check/shove on him, i don't see a point in minraising it.

      You're trying to maximize value against worse hands knowing you likely can't get away from better hands, the fact that he showed up with a monster doesn't mean you were wrong.
