      Needs to vent a little.

I tried rush poker, NL5 2 tables, found it great, no waiting for the round to play out, instant changing of hands, this allows me to play even tighter than usual and still turn a good profit. I no longer bother with hands like 67s or JKo on the button.

Ran hot for a while, but today lost 3 stacks within 2 minutes, all of them with KK.

      1. KK vs AA

      2. KK vs some idiot who raised preflop, called by preflop reraise and made trips on the turn with 97o

      3. KK vs 88, idiot made a set on the river

Why do people play like crazy in rush poker? I've noticed so many crazy donks and out of this world plays!!!

Shouldn't people generally play tighter? Now it seems they are looser than ever.

Well you are lucky he didn't get a flush. That happened to me once. AA vs AA, he got his flush.

Yeah it's surprising how many people limp call with AA and surprise you postflop in rush poker.

      Hi michaelqian,

KK vs AA is just bad luck. KK vs 97 n KK vs 88, not sure how they were played, but if correctly..

      you said it

But holy hell so many retarded moves!!! I'm thinking "WTF is he doing" at least once every 10 hands or so.
I think players probably act crazy coz they know they can run away after they win a pot. They probably lose a lot more than they win though. :)

A downside of rush poker is that you lose an edge, your reads. If you were at a single table with those players you could take notes. N you probably fold a lot of hands you would usually steal with against tighter players, or fold hands you might've called if you'd seen your pot odds..

On the upside you can get in mass volume in less time, and it is really fishy.
In my experience I've found it easier to steal than regular tables, probably coz people care less about folding when they can instantly play another hand. Even without reads, if you stick to good starting hands and play well, it should be profitable.

      Best of luck to you!

      Regards,
      Sarah

one things i've noticed about Rush Poker is that theres a lot of passive players.

I'm just about break even and have won 90% of the small pots, but lose 70% of the monsters.

When i hold the 2nd or 3rd nuts, i bet bet bet, and i always come up against the nuts.

Also if the action gets 4-bet preflop, it's almost always AA.

AK vs KK K on the flop. 40bb guy so the money goes in :f_mad:

I raise KK utg, bb calls oop. T hi, he calls potsize bet. another T on the turn. The monkey called me oop with KTo :f_mad:

some guy steals. i call with 99, low flop with a 7 i have an overpair, put him all in (15bb guy) he calls and shows 27s, turn 2 :f_mad:

some guy reraising KQo, two pair on the flop (oesd for me) and a full house on the river :f_mad:

limped pot A9s, i hit two pair, he runner runner flushes :f_mad:

Guy calling a raise oop with A9, flop A9x

I steal A2s, K hi flop gives me a flushdraw and bottom pair. A on the turn giving me 2 pair and a flushdraw. good enough to get the money in i think? villain was AKo :f_mad:

Had a beautiful rush graph until saturday. :f_confused:
