      My usual position on people calling 4-bets is that they're very strong unless i have reason to believe otherwise. I don't think that him betting small means he's weak in that spot, so i'd still check/fold barring a read that he's just fishy, in which case i'm c-bet shoving the flop myself. But i'm barely ever check/calling.
