      Well depending on how strong your 3-bet looks, he'll probably get in there with stuff like slowplayed QQ+, AQ+/KQs/77+ and some suited connectors, maybe lower pocket pairs since you're slightly deep. So most of the time he doesn't have a a good pair. If you think he might bluff you off with those by betting when you check the flop you're likely better off c-bet/folding unless you feel confident he will only bluff once, because you probably don't want to start a call down on that board. When in doubt i'll just c-bet myself and take it down against the range that will be very afraid on that board.
