      BTN vasa99 ($1.67)
      SB Hero ($1.96)
      BB Allah666 ($0.75)

      Pre-Flop: ($0.03, 6 players) Hero is SB T 7
      4 folds, Hero calls $0.01, Allah666 checks

      Flop: 2 5 9 ($0.04, 2 players)
      Hero checks, Allah666 checks

      Turn: 7 ($0.04, 2 players)
      Hero bets $0.04, Allah666 calls $0.04

      River: 5 ($0.12, 2 players)
Hero bets $0.06, Allah666 raises to $0.14, Hero folds

      Final Pot: $0.32

      Allah666 wins $0.31 (net +$0.11)

Was my second hand after sitting down, so didn't have any reads. Didn't really believe he had a 5, but then again I didn't really understand what else he could have had.

Although I would have assumed he would have bet the flop with a 5, should I have called the raise?

      Thanks

      Hero lost $0.12

Either raise to steal the BB, or forfeit your SB. Lean towards forfeiting. 10 7 o isn't worth completing really.

You should fold or raise preflop.
Because most of times villain dont have anything there.
T7o is so weak hand, dont play this hand anywhere.
But ok, you limp in, now you must account that villain may have whatever hand, you need here absolute nuts to bet.
      So flop - check
turn - check, if he bet small, you may call, big bet- you fold
river - check, if he bet small, you may call, big bet - you fold.

You dont have strong made hand, you have pretty weak hand, so pig pot for big hands, small pot for small hands. NL2 is not place for trikcy play, ABC tight poker rules here.

But if you want to play on SB and everyone is fold before you, you must raise about 3bb.

      Hi,

Agreed, dump it preflop, and if you don't want to, open raise to at least give yourself a chance to win the pot uncontested.

As played i like the turn bet for value, and on the river a small valuebet is fine if you think he can call again with A-high or something. Check/calling is okay too, since he's have very few value hands to bet but he'll be able to bluff clubs and random bullshit. No telling which is best really.

As played when he raises the river frankly it's about the same thing, very few value hands for him to do that with, 5x is just about all he can have. And since it's nl2 there is no way to know he's never bluffing there, so i'm calling mostly for such a small raise and making a note.

      Hope it helps.
