      Ouch, brutal StaticMoth!

You're over 90% favourite to win on both hands, so it sucks all the more when you do happen to get 1 or 2 outtered. Luckily those beats don't happen too often!

Best of luck for the future.

      Regards,
      Sarah

They do happen often now :D

      I grinded my roll to about $900 @NL10 ...

then took a shot at NL25 and dropped to $500 with beats just like that
coming over & over & over like I was on a coinflip everytime and not being able to win those flips :f_biggrin:

Now that I dropped back to NL10 - the same beats still continue ...
      Pretty brutal :f_frown:

Mmm open 15 SNG tables at once.

You will see things like those on a hourly basis.

You can't expect people to fold sets and top two pairs. And they have their fair share of chance to beat you by showdown. Even when it's 9%, 9% happens exactly 9% of the time and you can't change it. Be happy you were ahead when the money went in and that's all you can do.

      Ye, I know, variance's a bitch ...

It's just tough, especially when moving up a limit and knowing
that you can beat it, but the swinger is right there ... just waiting
for you to move up and then forcefully bend you over and just
crack your roll in half :s_biggrin:

just a tip: It's not swings. You can't expect them. Swings are only in your brain. They don't exist in reality. You can look in retrospection but don't say crap like "I am on a downswing and I will probably lose this hand!". The way a hand ends is independent of the way the previous hand ended.
