      I'll usually check back that flop since I don't expect him to call with worse nor do I think we'll get him to fold anything that we beat except maybe AK, that he probably would have 4-bet preflop anyway. If you bet you don't have to make it $1, even $0.80 will pretty much accomplish the same thing.

      As played without a more precise read I don't see how you can optimize your line on the turn. There isn't much of a reason for him to donk small there unless he's blockbetting something like TT or he has you smoked and wants to lure you in. If he has a hand like TT i very much doubt he's calling a shove and he probably isn't putting the rest in on the river either, if he has you crushed you'll be hard-pressed to get away no matter what you do. Maybe he can have some kind of draw since he doesn't look too aggressive. When in doubt I'd probably shove and make a note on what he took that line with.
