      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
      SB ($8.07)
      BB ($13.53)
      UTG ($33.78)
      Hero ($10)
      UTG+2 ($16.37)
      MP1 ($17.43)
      MP2 ($10.51)
      CO ($9.70)
      BTN ($13.88)

      Dealt to Hero J:heart: A:heart:

fold, Hero raises to $0.40, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls $0.30

      FLOP ($0.85) J:diamond: 7:heart: 8:heart:

BB bets $0.80, Hero raises to $2, BB raises to $4, Hero ??

Flatting after his re-raise isn't an option, since we'll be committed anyway. We could fold since i think the min 3-bet is very strong/trappy.

Should i have just called his initial donk instead of re-raising?

I put him on an overpair, playing the trap preflop and not wanting to see another heart. Stronger hands like 9T for the straight, or a set is also possible, but it would be strange that he donks those hands instead of check-raising, i think.

against overpair you have enough outs to shove for value
Also you´re not that bad shape against two pair and ofcourse you´re way ahead all the combo draws
So if you raise flop you have to shove after he 3-bets, since you´ve put a lot money in the pot already with good equity
If you don´t want to play for stacks then call flop and raise turn when you improve
