When he checked the turn I put him on either a low flush or something like AJ,AT.

Decided to check behind and planning to call a small bet on the river if its a blank, after he checked to me, I couldn't see what I could beat that he would call if i bet so decided to just check behind.

Anything I should have done differently?

      Thanks

      Hi,

Depending on how often I think he's donk/calling the flop with a diamond I will sometimes raise for value there, since I don't expect a relative unknown to bet/3bet a lone diamond that often, which means I'm fine folding to a 3bet from a tight range.

As played I'm betting the turn, if he had the flush most likely he'd bet again, and even if he's going for a check/raise with those we don't lose more money than if we check behind and call a river bet. I put him more on Ax and 1-diamond hands, against which there is certainly value in betting.

As played you can probably make a small valuebet against Ax and possibly Tx or the Kd that rivered a pair, I just think he almost never has us beat when he checks both turn and river so throwing in a valuebet in case he wants to make a bad call with whatever he has can't really hurt.

      Hope it helps.
