      In my humble opinion:

      Hand 1)
      Well played, because:
      - you don't have top pair WITH A or K kicker
      - you don't have many outs for a good hand
      - and most important: you were unsure how to proceed
For all these reasons, to fold is the good course of action.

      Hand 2)
If MP3 is a true SSS player, you know that his hand ranges are JJ+ and AK. With these hands against you, to fold is a wise idea.

Hand 2 - I don't think that it's likely for MP3 to be a true SSS player since he limped, which he shouldn't be doing with JJ+ or AK. Since he is short stacked, but not SSS, he could be limp-raising with a fairly wide range of hands, including small pockets.

      IMHO,

      Hand 1.)
His minbet looks like a block bet or just testing waters. OOP it´s tough. Maybe I would raise to $0.60 and hope everybody folds. If not on the Turn I´m done with my hand if another spade appears.

I do not see him betting that small with much, only KQ, K7, Q7, 77 and a Flush- or Straight-Draw.

But I do not blame you for calling here OOP. You only have 3 clear Outs for Two Pair or Trips and their are a lot of Cards you do not want to see on the Turn. E.g. any spade, an Ace, Q, 7, 9, J, T etc.

      Hand 2.)
Tough, against a real SSS Player it´s a fold, he was very stupid and might limped with AA or KK. Otherwise you often have only a Coinflip here because a Fish is limp raising a Medium Pocket Pair. So without reads I would fold here.
