      I think my betting from flop forward was way off, but I just couldn't give him credit for the flopped flush. Turn play??

      I don't see a way around that unless you can assign him an extremely tight range on the flop, which you likely can't even against a 14/9 player. He'd need to have no hand like AQ with a heart or 99 with a heart, and most people will still show up with that stuff. NH, would have played it the same way.
