Villain was very short stacked and limping a lot and then folding if he missed flop...
When he called the flop I was a bit unsure of whether he had hit or not.

Should I have bet the turn? I was thinking about doing it as I realised he was most likely gonna shove the river after I check behind on the turn and with his stack size.

      Thanks

      Hi,

Well if you're planning on calling a shove on the river even with 2 overcards that he could have on board, you're probably better off just shoving the turn yourself. You'll get stacked by his better hands all the same, but at least you'll also stack the draws he could have had on the flop, 76/J9/JT/T9 stuff. That counts as "hitting" the flop for most of these guys :)

These guys are bad and they're running around with a quarter of a stack, once you've put some money in already and you don't have air you're usually better off going broke and not overthinking it too much for 25bb, you'd be surprised what they end up going broke with sometimes.

As played on the river with 3 overs out there I don't mind the fold.

      Hope it helps.
