      No stats on villain unfortunately.

I was worried about a flush, and his donk bet on the turn confused me. If he checked the river I would have known I was ahead but the fact that he then bet out reasonably small again I started to believe he may have had the flush.

Should I have raised the river and try to get a bit more value out of a J or 8?

      Thanks

      Hi,

It's fine against an unknown, even tho his stack size usually already tells you he's bad (good regs rarely run around without having autorebuy on). It's credible for him to have the flush and play it like that, he might not call a raise on the river with Jx, probably never will with 8x, and consider we can account for 3 of the Q already it's not that likely he has trips himself. Plus if you raise you're committed to calling a shove usually, which you don't really want to do.

Just call down when in doubt given the odds, make a note on his play and use it in later hands to hand-read better against him.

      Hope it helps.
