      Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 6 players) Hero is BTN 8:spade: 9:spade:
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.25, CO folds, Hero raises to $1.25, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $1

      UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $5, UTG+1 goes all-in $14.97, Hero calls $9.97

Easy 2nd barrel on the turn? I got some fe besides my outs and i need to prepare for river shove if i hit.
When he shoves i was thinking its close and decided to call.
I got 35% against Ace and i got 2.7:1 so i need about 37% equity so its close but now i think its a fold.

As played, it's definitely a fold, because you don't even get enough pot odds against an A. And the thing is that an A is actually the bottom of his range, you have even worse equity against all of his range.
However, I'd prefer checking back the turn with so much equity.
The thing is the J improves a decen part of his range. All of his gutshots improved to a pair or the straight. He doesn't fold an A and many Tx hands now have improved into 2 pair or pair + gutter.

So, I like checking back and taking the free card. If we hit the river, it's easy to play =)
If we miss however, we can fold to a bet, but I'd probably bet if he checks, as I think he probably doesn't have an A and there'll be enough hands he'll fold.
