      i thought that the board was really dry and that he would have held a ace with a lower kicker, and he was going to call me on the river anyway, so i decided to do a 2/3pot bet on the river.

      any better than than a top pair was likely not to check on the river.

      To the river the hand is played good.
      River:
      He can have some weak two pair which check/call but most of his hands consist of an A, a T.
      Your betting size depends on what he thinks of it. If he calls 2/3 with weak A then bet 2/3, if not then bet 1/2. To get that information you should sometimes bet 1/2 and sometimes bet 2/3 and see how he reacts.
      I would bet 1/2 here without any read.
