Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      CO:
      $14.12
      BU (Hero):
      $10.00
      SB:
      $10.40
      BB:
      $10.00
      MP2:
      $13.33
      MP3:
      $11.58

Preflop: Hero is BU with K, Q.
      MP2 calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.45, SB folds, BB calls $0.35, MP2 calls $0.35.

      Flop: ($1.4) Q, 3, T (3 players)
BB bets $1.10, MP2 folds, Hero raises to $2.90, BB raises to $9.55, Hero folds, BB gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $4.3.

opponent is known to be rather tight. should i have called instead and check call the turn and check fold the river? or should i have re raised to extract value if he had hit his queen?

if you´re going to raise flop you have to call shove, since he can shove there worse hands and draws
I would not raised flop, since I think KQ is not strong enough to play there for stacks
I´d like call flop, call turn and fold river or if you think he is bluffing then calling him down
