BDL's Life + NL Blog

I haven't blogged in a long time and decided that now would be a good time to start doing it again. This time I'll be tackling NL SH starting near the very bottom of the barrel with .05/.10. This blog can be used to track my progress. Because the VOI system is excellent I'll be shamelessly ripping it off from JuiceQuadre and applying it to my own blog.

      A brief update then:

Pokerwise: I haven't played in about a month as my computer was broken. Before that I played a couple months on Pot Limit .10/.25 Full Ring to build my bankroll up. There I enjoyed a lot of success but since there's no potential for mass multi-tabling any higher limits I'll be switching to NL where there are always games.

Lifewise: I'd been teaching English in Japan up until a couple days ago when the company I worked for went Bankrupt. Unfortunately they didn't pay me for the last month I worked and although annoying it's not a serious problem because I've saved up lots of money every month for almost a year now. I'll be heading back to Vancouver Canada where I'm from in about a month.

My hobbies recently have been weight lifting, sprinting and reading books. The books I've read most recently are Lolita and Angela's Ashes which are incredible and everyone should run out and read. I also read a sci-fi book called Hyperion which was so-so.

My goal with this blog is to record my progress and my studying. Will update that tomorrow.

I like that your hobby isn't running, but sprinting. Sounds serious. :f_p:
