Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

      Known players:

      $25.14
      SB (Hero):

      BB:

      MP1:
      $20.07
      MP2:
      $12.55
      MP3:
      $3.35
      CO:
      $10.30

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, T.
5 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BB calls $0.20.

      Flop: ($0.6) 7, 9, J (2 players)
Hero bets $0.50, BB calls $0.50.

      Turn: ($1.6) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.90, BB calls $0.90.

      River: ($3.4) A (2 players)
Hero bets $2.10, BB raises to $4.20, Hero folds, BB gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $5.5.

should i have even bet the flop? a straight may not be the best given that a flush/flush draw was possible.

how about the river bet as a bluff since A was clearly in my range?

I would not bet turn again, since you have very little equity, you can be drawing dead and I think he would often call again if you bet turn
River bet is fine, since likely he would fold then now one pair+draw hands
