      I would call flop. Then maybe call down, maybe fold depending on villain. Lean towards giving total unknown credit. This is most lilkley Jx, 44, bluff, or some underpair seeing where it's at. By 3bet/calling, you are going to get it in way behind vs the top of his range.

      This. 3-betting the flop without history usually doesn't accomplish anything, most people will dump everything but Jx/44 that they're never folding, and jam those hands on you. So you get it in against all better hands, while folding out all worse hands. I'd much rather call once in case he's just making a "it's hard for MP1 to hit that flop so i'm raising my T9s" bluff-raise and I expect most people to shut down on the turn with their bluffs. If he bombs the turn again chances are you're better off folding until you know better.
