Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Hand abspielen

      $0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (4 handed)

      Known players:
      CO (Hero):
      $52.95
      BU:
      $45.92
      SB:
      $68.99
      BB:
      $17.99

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, K.
Hero raises to $1.50, BU calls $1.50, SB calls $1.25, BB folds.

      Flop: ($5) T, K, 9 (3 players)
SB bets $3.56, Hero raises to $10.50, BU folds, SB raises to $67.49, Hero folds, SB gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $15.5.

      Villain donk bets 4/10
      plays 28/23/8/2.0/278 VPIP/PFR/3bet/aggfac/hands

I thought raising for protection / value was good at the flop but once he backfires all in i think im up against very strong draws / straight / two pair / sets. Does raising on the flop makes sense and can i ever raise fold?

if you´re raise/folding, then raising flop is very bad idea, since he would shove there also all sorts of draws that you´re ahead with tptk
I´d call flop, call turn and evaluate river unless board get really ugly
