      Hi All,

Just joined this site to see what all the fuss was a bout.

I mostly play live poker as I prefer that to internet, mostly due to having better results at live. I find most of the smaller stakes are really fishy on the net and people are not a likely to play "total garbage" hands at a live game compared to inteernet. THhis probably has a few factors mainly because they cannot just click the mouse and join another game if tey get put out and also theyneed to show down ther hand at the end, sos if they are holnding 72 off and having been callin off bets then they are goin to look rather stupid.

Hope to watch a few of the training videos from the more advanced players. But I find that due to all the training and poker tools and data miming most players have lots of information on others play so internet poker is getting harder every day.

      Good luck at the tables.

Ps I am from glasgow and go to the Gala Casino, Alea, Wabash and I am off to the cincinnati poker club tonight. Wish me luck :f_cool:

Hi terryboi & welcome to PokerStrategy,

The training videos are a great way to see poker from a slightly different viewpoint and can indeed help you to fine-tune your own game.

Don't forget also the free live coaching sessions available to you. Here the coach will explain his thinking and how best to play difficult situations as and when they come up during the session. Once again, they're great for analysing your own play and sometimes you will get a shock at just how much or how little equity you have in a given situation.

Keep up the good work and good luck with those live events ;)

      Best regards,

      Hi clandestineAl,

It seems that nobody can comment on your post, but have you gone to try after all?

I posted your original thread in the General Poker Discussion board and hopefully our members will pick it up there.

      Happy Sunday
