Hey guys, mind giving me a hand here?

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      UTG1:
      $2.00
      UTG2:
      $2.01
      MP1:
      $1.83
      MP2:
      $2.33
      MP3:
      $2.00
      CO:
      $3.42
      BU:
      $5.99
      SB:
      $2.18
      BB (Hero):
      $10.48

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, Q.
      UTG1 calls $0.02, UTG2 calls $0.02, 5 folds, SB calls $0.01, Hero raises to $0.08, UTG1 calls $0.06, UTG2 calls $0.06, SB folds.

      Flop: ($0.26) 6, T, T (3 players)
      Hero bets $0.17, UTG1 folds, UTG2 calls $0.17.

      Turn: ($0.6) 3 (2 players)
      Hero bets $0.20, UTG2 calls $0.20.

      River: ($1) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG2 bets $1.00, Hero folds, UTG2 gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $1.

I know I played it extremely weak, raising to 0.08 preflop instead of 0.12 (wasn't paying attention, almost timed out :P ), good bet on the flop IMO, weak bet on turn for pot control, then check on river because I thought he had a ten or sixes full by the way the hand was played.

      Thoughts?

      Hi!

As you said bet more preflop.

You don`t control pot by betting less. If you bet less u are giving your opponent better odds.

I would bet turn 0.40$ and bet river 1/2 to 2/3 of pot, cuz he is calling you down with smaller pocket pairs and Ax`s.

Hmm, guess that makes sense. Thanks for the headsup. I should have made a blockbet on the river I think, but most opponents aren't experienced enough to try fancy stuff like floating so the flop/turn calls shut me down.

      Hey!

Actually, you're not effectively deepstacked becasue the other opponents only have 100bb ;)

Rasie it bigger pre-flop, as you yourself have already mentioned.

I'd bet bigger on the flop, becasue that's the kind of flop he's calling any 6x or better and maybe even Ax regardless of your betsize. I'd bet $0.20.
On the turn, definitely bet bigger, since the card was a total blank and he probably thinks his 77-88 are still good.

the river is kind of tricky becasue 99 got there, 87 got there (in case he's calling that twice). And of course, he could have been slowplaying Tx.

I'd blockbet however, because people I still expect he might call 88, 98 (if he has this), maybe he will even call 6x and 77 to a small bet (1/3 - 1/2 pot) and if he raises us, we can safely fold. =)

      Cheers!
