I´m planning to move to Scotland for a year. First I want make sure internet poker gambling is legal there. I have never, what I know about, played a scottish player on the net.
As far as poker, same laws apply in Scotland as they do in England, so yes it's perfectly legal and tax free. Most casinos run cash games and tourneys, so shouldn't be a problem if your looking for some live action, assuming your staying in or near a city!
There are Scots online, I'm one! I think poker is still growing here, but generally you might never know they are Scottish online as location is generally stated as UK or GB.
I have some friends studying at aberdeen atm.
Watch out if your moving into halls with a uni internet connection, they blocks all sorts of poker clients (definately i-poker from what I know).

No, Im going to Aberdeen. If their university accept me.
Sweet, I live about 40 miles north. There's a few casinos in town running poker, G Casino being the new one in town runs quite a lot. Then there's the Gala which runs some tourneys, and there was also the International for cash and tourney, but I'm not sure if that's closed since the G appeared.

Hmm, I´m looking mainly for cash games and PLO in particular.
