shove or call? wanted the cold caller to play with his weaker range of hands, he has vpip 89. i called early because many fishes behind that call/raise loosely, prefer to limp shove to get it in preflop

Are they playing like 45/10 or more like 75/50 ?

Generally I don't Limp/Shove40bb since you will fold out many hands. Also I think fish like to call more marginal hands then to raise them let alone raise them and call a shove with

Give me some more information please ;)

open raiser is 89/20 with 70 samples. another fish is 45/30 with 30 samples.
the one who shove was a 5/5 with 20 hand samples. hmm maybe instead of shoving, raise 4x bet? yea idea is to have a 3bet pot, forgot i was 40bb deep

Yea either limp/raise 3.5x to $14 and jam any Flop sounds ok

I also like raising to 5x/6x pre just to make the postflop pot 12 and you rstack 35 which means you cBet 9/12 and you can jam the turn ;)

Also when making it 5x, you can 4betjam easier if you get 3betted

So on the spot if you think they limp or call more than they 3bet or raise after you then I think raising pre is better than limp/3bet
