Hero wins with two pairs, kings and sevens(Kh Ks).

Value bet on flop, blockbet on turn (does that even exist in position) so that he doesn't fire a huge bet on river, then check behind on river. How would you play that?

      Hey!

No need to pot control here =) Overpair in 3b = NUTSSS LET'S GET THE MONIES IN! :D

      Just bet, bet, shove!
Definitely make the turn bet bigger (~$2) and ship it on the river. He never folds Jx or QQ and it's pretty unlikely he has anything stronger than KK, given the way the hand was played =)

      Cheers!

3bet preflop could mean any pocket pair, including Jacks, 7s and 3s. He could be set mining when he calls preflop knowing I have a big hand and stack me on the river. Those were my thoughts. But then when I saw what he had,.. *facepalm*

There are very few combos of sets there.

He could also have AJ, KJ, QQ... Which are a much bigger pat of his range.
You can't be afraid of valuebetting an overpair on a 3b pot! You gotta go for it! =)

Also, set mining there in his spot is usually pretty bad
