      Hey guys
I noticed on party poker the min buyin at a ring game is now 35BB. and on cake its 30 BB.

Given that the SSS was designed for buy ins of 20BB and the charts were written up for that buy-in, is SSS still profitable as per the unadjusted SSS in the strategy section????

      Hi goldi439,

As you have identified, a number of the platforms have recently introduced changes to their minimum table buyins. As the sss strategy was optimised for use with 20BB, this optimised play is no longer possible on the platforms making this change.

We would suggest that the big stack route is now more suited to these platforms.

Of course this isn't to say that this won't change again in the future, but for the moment we would strongly recommend that you follow the buyins as suggested in the strategy guides and so either adopt bss or find a platform still offering sss.

Hope this helps, shout if you need further clarification at all.

      Best regards,
