I think raising flop might be better. There are many hands he'll call you with here, I don't think he'll fold any pair for instance. And a higher card on the turn might scare him away. So'd raise to $3 on the flop and keep betting/raising.

As played, I don't think I can fold trips with A kicker here, so I would also raise/CAI on the turn.

      Hey!

Good one brother ;-) Definitely raise on the flop! There are so many hands he can call us here. Some draws, 6x, 77+, 5x... And if he has random junk, we're probably not getting much out of him anyway, so it's not a problem if he folds.

Like dandy said, the turn could bring some scare cards for him, and then it would be harder for him to pay us off. Think about it: if he has 77 and any broadway comes on the turn, is he still paying us off? =)

As played, we're in a pretty ugly spot on the turn. I mean, 87 and 54 got there. But still, he could have worse 5x and maybe he stacks off something like 76, or 6x with a fd, or maybe even 77+. So I'm fine with r/jamming, although I'm not super happy when he 3bets us. Even if he has us beat, we're never drawing dead, which is definitely a good thing. We should have over 50% equity here against his overall range.
      We can't r/f =)

      Cheers!
