I'm not sure if NL10 is the place to light 4bet, I'd say the bet is too big and after he shoves, I get that thought as usual that I'm already committed, but at best I'll get a flip I think.

      Hi,

Nothing wrong with 4-betting light at nl10 these days, people 3-bet light across all stakes. That said you should usually prefer 4-betting a polarized range, widening your value 4-bet/calling range is pretty worthless against people who will still 5-bet with the same nutted range.

Basically they'll risk 14bb on the squeeze and get away if you do anything when they have air, but you'll risk 100bb by committing yourself with a hand that does rather horribly against their 5-betting range of what, QQ+/AK. You're usually better off taking strong non-premium hands like 99 and playing postflop with them in position, nobody at nl10 is enough a pain in the ass postflop in 3-bet pots to make it unprofitable for you really, most people will c-bet/shutdown all day long unless they have TPGK+. Then just 4-bet/fold trash with blockers like bad Ax/Kx hands if BB is abusing those squeeze spots.

      Hope it helps.
