Hey mate, welcome to PokerStrategy! I'm a NZer like yourself, from the Shore in Auckland. Where are you from?

And yeah, not only did he win a bracelet but beat Durrrr heads up to win it too. Good on him.

G'day SixGunStar.. you shall be the first of what I've just dubbed the "Watt Wave".

You've found a great place to learn - make you study the strategy articles and make use of the vids, coachings and hand evaluation forums Scroll down on the linked page to find evaluation forums for No Limit, Fixed Limit and Sit n Go's.

      Best of luck fella!

Hey Kyle, thanks for the welcome, have to learn all the jargon, essentially I am into full ring cash or tournament games, here in little ol NZ we tend not to have big numbers live, but I play PokerStars and have a FullTilt account again full ring cash and torunaments, I dream of joining the Braclet winners and YES :s_evil: Aussies beat us again : )

Not really a newbie to the game but still lots to learn...

      Cheers,

I'd love to, but 1) I don't have the roll, and 2) I don't have the ID card! I'll be there one day though. Gotta build up my WSOP roll for when I'm 21 somehow, right?

Actually I was at the casino the best part of last week with Kevvu (blond Estonian dude with glasses) who insisted on going pretty much every day and short stacking.

I spent most of the time drinking beers/coffees due to being a FL player and completely underrolled for NL300 - even in NZD. Although the little I did play the standard was stupid soft.

Obviously we'll have to set up some sort of pissup at the casino one night for teh Kiwi PS.com crew (once Genkid hits 20 obv).

      He aha ai?

      Ka rawe te kōrero Māori!

On a more serious note: What's with the recent influx of Kiwis? Purely coincidental or was there some sort of poker event in NZ?

      Possibly due to this:

durrrr 2nd in WSOP Event #11, Misses a Potential $12.5 Million Payout
