      INTERVIEW WITH MYSELF :D

      Who are you?
hey! i am 19 and live in ireland. I go to uni doing business and german.

How did you get into poker?
My friend had a cheap poker table and invited me to play. There were 4 of us and we played for about an hour and i won. I was bluffin them every hand and i was able to understand the basics of the game straight away. None of us knew how to play really and we were checking this rules sheet on every showdown :f_biggrin:

Whats your poker career so far?
I got $50 last september, played MTT's and got about 100% ROI in 600 tourneys between $1 and $10. I may or may not have been a luckbox to get these results cuz im a beginer fish but i am trying hard :D

      Any crazy swings yet?
Obviously its poker. Upswing was shipping a turbo 6 max out of 1k players for $2k and downswing was $400 (20BI) playing some turbo SNG's.

Why are you writing a blog?
to show off, complain and maybe get some help :D

So why you need a new plan?
because mtt's have high variance but more importantly i dont get time to play 10 hours in a row. Playing mtts would be too bad for my personal life so i want to play something which i can start and quit whenever i want and take breaks regularly, like cash games :D

      So what's the new plan?
I'll just play a few formats for a while and keep progress and then see which one i am most successfull at.
Edit: My main game is hyperturbos now but playing cash games too.

So feel free to advise, criticise, troll, praise and whatever else you feel like :D

15BI for PLO is a disastrous idea, don't even try that, variance cannot be controlled there :f_p:

      Good luck with your quest!

      i'll go for 20 then,
not a big increase but i'll move down to PLO5 if i go to $100
i think i'll move up and down often but i'll just see how it goes

i am not learning how to play them
i know how to play all of them and the limits that i am starting with i am almost sure that i can beat but i dont know which games i am best at

and lets say i play SSS NL50, then i play with over 100 buyins from my whole bankroll but when i look at the chart thingy then it makes me concentrate more and play better as it suggests that i dont have many buyins so that was the thinking behind it
and if i do really good in one or 2 of them then i can play higher stakes

and i wont play 20 tables of mixed strategies...i'll pick what i feel like playing most and then play that for a while and then maybe switch if things dont go well or something like that

so yesterday i played 9 $11.5 HU sngs and won 6 so im up $28.5 there

but then i went to play NL50 HU...
as i was buying in for $10, with 20BB there was a lot of all ins and little postflop play...plenty of fish but the odds werent treating me nice so i ended up losing $29 in about 1k hands

then i played 5 tables of PLO10 for 2-3 hours and ended up breakeven

i was gonna post some hands from heads up but i only have elephant now and with 20BB its just mostly all ins so not much fun
i'll play some BSS today then i'll post hands

*What tracker do you guys think is better?? PT3 or Holdem Manager??
i heard holdem manager is better but i dont know

yesterday i was gonna write about how poker went but it turned out one big boring complain story so i wrote that thing instead :D

      but for the record...it's -$1k in 2 days playing $22 hyper turbo sats ( i suck )
and i am good at those, im still in the green :D

      -----------------------------------

      But...

I still have ~4k left and I'm going back to playing MTT's :f_love:
back to nitty BRM with 200BI :f_cool: so $5-$22
and 400BI when/if i get to medium stakes

so ye...fuck the new plan :f_p:

also to make this blog not boring i'll post some pictures and videos

      i'll start tomorow cuz i self-excluded myself for 24 hours ( very wise :f_biggrin: )

I am getting HoldemManager today as well :s_biggrin:

so today i will do some weight lifting to get rid of my anger from the downswing :f_cool:

and tomorrow i will pwn some of these kind of players

and here is a guy that makes funny youtube videos which get me off tilt :f_smile:

If it's your first 1k loss you're handling it pretty well. On my first 1k downer (50nl) i was hitting walls and hating myself, took me about a month to recover. :D

ye its the first time i lose so much...~$400 was biggest till now
its scary what pokerstars is doing to me :f_confused: :P

but losing 1k on cash games is much harder to cope with imo

in hyperturbos you just shove cuz some smart ICM program tells you to do it
so you dont make many decisions
you just go all in preflop and watch the fishes hit all the time and you wonder what the fuck is going on

      but with cash games
you can hate yourself for stacking off when you shouldn't have and that you often could have took other lines and bluffing too much and so on

      ----------------

      i saw on your blog u lost 2k in 1 day :f_o:

for how long do you play poker? :)

Well with deeper stacks there's more room for error so yea, i guess it's kinda harder. I think i'm down around 3k from highest point this month, not rly sure how much exactly and don't rly care. It's we who decide how much money are worth and to me they are close to worthless because you can't buy the most important thing in life - happyness. So as long as i have enough money not to have find some gay ass job it's fine with me.

Well, my registration date says: 25.10.2008 so that's pretty much since when i'm playing.

The title sounds ok, now i only have to google wtf "lethal" means. :D (my english suck ldo)

And yea, positive thinking is cool, my graph is gonna look pretty similar to yours, i tell you! :D

      yo

today me and a friend made a bet that he can do 100 keep up with football before i can do a flip on a trampoline :s_biggrin:
and the winner gets $200!!! easy money

he sucks at football and his best was 35 so far but he thinks they are really easy to learn :D

but then again, i suck at flips, and i think they are easy to learn

but i'm still pretty sure i'll win

i watched some tutorials on youtube and they say you need max a week to learn them

      ye baby!
