I just want to know if it was either extremely stupid of me to call that huge bet on the river..

or was it a good idea because he could do that with AK ...

But because I only beat AK..thats the only hand i beat ... it was extremely stupid of me to do that?

thank you in advanced for the advice

Most probably a slowplayed set. Either that, or he just hit his JJ.

AK is improbable because there's a big chance that he would have raised it preflop. + I don't think he's shoving there TPTK, a raise to $10 (in case he is sure he has the best hand) or just a call would be the line with AK.

O, and he is a TAG... that means he must have something. Would this tag cold call with 78s?

Anyway, bet/fold river is the best option. You will be against a better hand way to often there.

      Till river you played well.

I think you see there most of the times 78, especially when he shoves that huge overbet
I would fold there KJ, since I don´t think he would shove there worse hands than yours for value and he is not bluffing enough times
