i thought that in a multiway pot he was likely to have top pair or better but i had position and decided to call and re-evaluate the turn. would folding be too weak here?

He just called preflop so is range is somewhat strengthened. Sure he can have some draws - but these will often second barrel and even triple if they miss. You are going to get into some very tough turn (and river) spots by calling here and I would just fold the flop.

how come folding is weak since you think he got you beat ? Just fold and look ahead

      Hi,

Agreed. Folding when you're obviously beat, or at least in a spot where it's very likely unprofitable to continue with the hand, it's just playing good. It's when you start folding as a default because it's "easier" that you become weak.

Here even if you're right about being ahead of MP3 he probably has a lot of outs with a draw, and MP1/MP2 could end up check/raising the both of you sometimes too. Even if they don't, you likely can't call a turn bet which MP3 is likely to make even if he's drawing. If you're wrong however, you're 2-outing and that's it. Just get out of the way and feel fine about it.

      Hope it helps.
