SB is big fish, CO is unknown. I think he is able to raise flush draw and maybe some overpair.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      BB:
      $41.03
      MP2:

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K, K.
MP2 folds, Hero raises to $1.00, CO calls $1.00, BU folds, SB calls $0.90, BB folds.

      Flop: ($3.25) 3, 6, 2 (3 players)
SB bets $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50, CO raises to $24.00(All-In), SB folds, Hero calls $19.50(All-In).

You mostly run into sets and twopair in spots like these.

I think nice hand to. He could easily have small overpair, flush draw etc.

Gregor86 maybe u are right. But what does that mean? That u are going to fold all preflop monsters in 3 way pots with flop shove if you dont hit your set?

Considering the action (bet/raise/shove) I think Gregor is right, you're probably behind.

very interested in this hand, lost similar one last night (was BB and he preflop raise on the button) where my kings run into a set as well.
That is the way I played it and I think this is the right way.

Come on guys, if you didn't know he was against a set would you really fold you KK here?
I agree on Alan here he can have small over pair, pair + flush draw, flush draw etc...

Well the first prob is that he is a complete unknown. If you follow villains play for bout 20-30 hands you can already make some assumptions and react according to them. It is just a problem because you find more bad players who don`t know how to play their good hands and so they just shove them and less worse players who do that with hands you beat. Now I ain`t saying I am foldin KK in that spot 100% of time but against a player on who I have 0 hands I am doing just that and shaking off the feeling that I am leaving it up to the variance and guessing games.

      Hi,

Interesting, different ways of handling high variance spots against unknowns. I don't think it's bad per se to let go that kind of hand once in a while if you get a bad vibe, especially if you being wrong when you call it off results in you playing badly for the rest of the session.

Personally I'm always calling there against unknown because even if they're shoving "the nuts", the nuts could mean worse overpairs to them as well, so I'm not folding.

If he ends up showing me a set or 54 I'll just make a note that he's plain jamming his nuts hand as soon as he hits them and be more likely to let it go in the future.

      Hope it helps.
