MY OPP WAS PRETTY NEW AT THE TABLE...
HE LIMPED AND I RAISED PREFLOP... COULDNT LIMP A POCKET PAIR...
he called preflop so i thought i was narrowing his range a bit
but he puts me in a difficult decision on turn... as he shoves ...

i was thinking he can have A rag and he hit 2 pair ... didnt put him on a straight even if a 5 would complete a straight... (he donked out more than pot size... all in) so i made the call on turn thinking that i am ahead most of times ? and i still got 10 outs if he is ahead... wich i didnt really consider that much that he was ahead...

being said that.... my question is: Is the call wrong there ? what do u think?

Preflop: Hero is CO with 3:diamond: , 3:club:
      MP2 folds, MP3 calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.09, 3 folds, MP3 calls $0.07.

      MP3 checks, Hero bets $0.18, MP3 calls $0.18.

      Turn: ($0.57) 2:heart: (2 players)
      MP3 bets $1.23 (All-In), Hero calls $1.23.

      River: ($3.03) 2:diamond: (2 players)

      Final Pot: $3.03

      Results follow (highlight to see):
      MP3 shows (8c 5c)
Hero shows a full-house, threes full of deuces (3d 3c)

Hero wins with a full-house, threes full of deuces (3d 3c)

Call seems fine. Only a fish would go all in on the turn in that spot and any fish is just as likely to have hit his A2 as his A5 imo. (or be pushing with a different ace two pair or high ace) Trip threes is ahead more often than it's behind here for most opponents.

      Hi,

It's certainly possible he has 5x but you'll also see the fish make that play with stuff like A2/42/32 and flushdraws sometimes. Give that you can still boat up against 5x, I think it should be a call by default as well.

      Hope it helps.
