Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

      Known players:
      BB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7, 8.
      2 folds, MP2 raises to $1.00, MP3 calls $1.00, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.75.

      Flop: ($3.1) 4, Q, 5 (3 players)
      Hero bets $1.50, MP2 calls $1.50, MP3 folds.

      Turn: ($6.1) Q (2 players)
      Hero bets $3.50, MP2 calls $3.50.

      River: ($13.1) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $19.00(All-In), Hero calls $19.00.

      Final Pot: $51.1.

Villain is 18/14/4.0 with AggFreq on river 50%.
Now the thoughts going through my head were that he must have hit his Q with his broadway and that he is displaying some badly played slowplay. At the same time I was thinking that he would probably play his draws more agresively cuz he is the pfa with high af. On the river I am not quite sure anymore. Is the overbet sign of power or weakness cuz I gave up the initiative?

      Hi Gregor,

Since you are betting your flush draw on the flop and on the turn why are you checking the river when you hit?
I think 1/2 pot bet on the river makes more sense.

I think you are ahead here with his range (don't think he has 44 or 55).
I would also call his over bet on the river

      I dont like it.

=> Preflop OOP you can also fold, Draws OOP are not so easy to play

=> Flop: dont like the donk, maybe c/c or c/raise

=> When you donkt, not so small. 1/2 potsize is not enough. Minimum 2/3.

      => Turn the same

=> River-check? Why? You think he bluffs now? Which hand? This is a must bet!!!

Which worser hand he bet here?
