      Hi.

Could someone please tell me what the new "T" icon means, it appears in the bottom left side of the box containing your name when you sit down at a table.

When you slide the mouse across it it says "XXX is a true poker player". I am currently in Italy and the Full Tilt webpage is blocked here, because they don't have an Italian license. Therefore this thread. If someone could explain it to me, it would be greatly appreciated.

      Thx.

      Hi ThePikey,

Copied this from Full Tilt's software update page for you:

Earn each of the four Achievement Badges by completing challenges while playing in your favorite games. Badges are earned on a monthly basis:

      * Rush Poker* Badge – Accumulate 50 Full Tilt Points in a month by playing Rush Poker* to earn this badge
      * Full Tilt Poker Academy Badge – Complete three Full Tilt Poker Academy Challenges in a month to earn this badge
      * Iron Man Challenge Badge – Qualify for any of the Iron Man Challenge status levels in a month to earn this badge
      * True Poker Player Badge – Play any of the games available at Full Tilt Poker to earn this
I haven't actually looked into these myself yet. Will add information as/when known.

      Best regards,

      Bart

True poker player mean you play with real money and not play money.

R mean Rush poker player who rake 50 ftp in rush poker during the month.

Their is also the iron man medal.

And the last corner Academy those who complete 3 academy challenge get this medal.

It's a showoff badges which is i think annoying when playing rush as the icon for note is so small compare to before that it hard to read stats T_T.

Err, turn them off then... I have.

Sigh... Options --> Badge Display options --> Drop down menu at the top of options screen --> Hide Badges.

Now I feel ready for rocket science. :s_mad:

I wouldn't turn them off because its -EV not to know your opponent is an ironman. Yes the note is smaller as a result but what can you do? Basically this update was so stupid because we had it good both ways prior in that we could see iron villains and have a larger note tab. Idiot devs.

Once you have 1,000 hands on an opponent who cares if he is Ironman?

I dunno, I don't like 'em and they can hide the badge anyway so makes no difference. Just because someone is ironman doesn't make them a winner.

You are right being ironman has nothing to do with being a winning player but its a good tell though. They play alot and have experience regardless of their skill. Same reason why you choose to not to reveal your iron badge. And you are not always going to have 1k hands on someone so if they are an ironman you can definitly take it into consideration when table selecting.

but that he doesn´t have an ironman badge doesn´t necessarily have to mean that he is not one..
you can always hide your Iroman chip..

i believe the option to hide just hides the badges from you, but others still see it... (unlike the iron man chip) not really sure if it contributes a lot of performance degradation but for me i find it best to just enable it but disable the links that annoyingly pop out to the ftp site.
