Having decided to give Full Tilt ago following the server crash on iPoker I was quite pleased to find myself 85 pounds up after a few games.

Full Tilt suddenly freezes and disconnects in the middle of a matrix tournament where I am at the high blinds with strong stacks. It takes about 10 mins to reconnect and I crash out in third or on the bubble having had my blinds/stack stolen while away.

On top of that I was registered to another matrix tournament, which they decided to fire up with me disconnected! Why players who are disconnected aren't auto-unregistered at the beggining of a SNG is beyond me!

Helpfully the software did not load up this tournaments when I finally reconnected properly, and it was 5 mins until I went and looked following a surprise at the cashier. Sure enough I was half-stacked on all four tables sitting out unawares, tried to play my way back in but no avail.

Having sent an email to the customer support peeps I decided to try again. Once more doing well and with strong stacks on 3 of the four matrix tables. I I try to push my 77 on one table...... My whole computer crashes....

Frantically trying to get back to the action I end up restarting the thing. Finally running again: one third place, two bubbles no matrix payout.

Probably cost me about 50 quid.

I'm fleeing with my remaining 30 pounds winnings and returning to bet365.

No wonder they call it full tilt.

I am not quite sure what you would like to hear as a reply to your post, but disconnections do happen on pretty much all internet poker sites, to some players unfortunately more often than to others. Are you completely sure that this is all the fault of Full Tilt's software and not your computer's/internet connection's? It seems quite unlikely to me that the crash of your computer is a result of the Full Tilt's software. I have personally not had any major problems with Full Tilt's software, but as I already said, the software and computer compactibility is different from person to person.

      Best regards,

      Ty for your reply,

I guess I was using the forum as a form of tilt control!

A couple of things that really could be better though on poker software in general....

The number of pop-ups on poker clients are ridiculous, a lot of them seem meaningless and I find frustrating as a multitabler.

A further frustration is the number of things that can be clicked on by accident that open an internet browser or casino game. It's easy to click something by mistake and cause a costly if temporary freeze.

Although software has improved, I have yet to see one that incoorporates a new table into the current selected view correctly, particularly tiled view. This should be easy to fix.

SNG players who are disconnected at the point when a SNG fills up should automatically be unregistered from the tournament.

I will start a new thread where people can view these concerns.

I think of losing money due to disconnections as losing money with aces. I have to accept that in my location (with average at best internet) it's sometimes going to happen. Thannkfully it doesn't occur too often. However, if it did occur so frequently that it was causing any significant cut into my win-rate I would have to re-think about playing online for real money.

I suppose having an option to auto-unregister from a tournament is a good idea. I think it would be better if it were to unregister immediatley instead of when the sng is full. I imagine I would be annoyed if I signed up for a tournament thinking that it is ready to go, then several people auto-unregister. It would only be viable as an option though. Some people would probably get annoyed if they were unregistered due to a dissconnect which sometimes fixes itself in a matter of seconds.
