I think I played it well, but....

The Rounders character said his hand was not a bad beat, he was outplayed. I think it's BS, it was just a BRM problem... What do you think?

What about this hand? Anything you'd do diferent?

lol the rounders hand is clearly outplayed. If you stacked off here something like 1000bb deep vs an overbet on the river then I would say you were outplayed too.

a quick google and here's the HH (courtesy of 2p2):

      Hand #1
      $50/$100 NL $25k min buy-in
      4 players

      UTG folds
      Button raises to $600
      SB folds
      BB calls $500

"I has suited Ace on the button. 6x raise."

      Pot $1,250
      Flop : As9s8c

      BB checks
      Btn bets $2k
      BB calls $2k

"My guess is Teddy is on a flush draw."

      Pot $5,250
      Turn : 9h

      BB checks
      Btn checks

"This guy check-calls almost 2x pot bets with flush draws. I check behind. Come on spade!"

      Pot $5,250
      River : 3s

      BB bets $15k
      "Time"
*Thinks about Vegas and the ****ing Mirage*
Btn raises to $48k and is all-in
BB calls and shows AdAh and wins $101,250 pot.

I'll just say that if you're jamming on the river to an overbet vs a supposedly good player with a9 then yes you were outplayed

^ laying down the second nuts is easier said then done.. Especially when the third spade comes for the flush..

      Right.

I never paid that much atention to the bet sizes in the movie. The 2nd time (last time) I saw I realized the betsizes of the entire movie are weird, but didn't notice they were that weird (Except the $2k pre-flop raise in the first hand of the final match).

      Well, it's just a movie.

Anyway, good to see this post again and realize it's just a cooler that I wasn't even remembering anymore...

I think folding is quite bad. But shoving is far worse. What are you hoping a good player calls your shove with?
