      hello.

i've seen something strange going on.

on the 8th of july in my tournament history there are 2 MTTs classed as void in the comments section on the right.

also fulltilt have gave me 200ftps on that day too according to my iron page...

has anyone seen anything like this before?

got 200 points on that day too, i haven't even turned my laptop on that day ^^

i think i ran into void mtts, it means minimum amount of players did not show up (i think). this means that if for example the minimum amount of players required to start an MTT is 27, and only lets say 19 showed up when mtt starts - it gets cancelled.

      it can't be that jackalof,

both tournaments in question are $10 MTTs with a $10k guaranteed prizepool, and there was more than 1500 players in both...

it's really weird, because ive also been credited with a day on rush week, even though i dont play rush (cash or tourneys)...

The ftp server bit the big one on that day so everyone was locked out and got an auto 200 ftps. Those void tourneys would have been ones that either didn't start or crashed out I'd guess.

fair enough... i'm guessing the prizepool was spread out to those still in the tournaments??

i didnt make the money in the tourneys and don't remember being locked out.

any idea why i got given a rush day then waiboy? i received an email about it too...

something along the lines of "error with our calculations, apologies you've now been given the points".

i can copy and paste the whole email if you like

I read in another thread they pay out based on ICM to those remaining in the tourney, but don't quote me.

Nope.. haven't seen anything along these lines. Still, nice to get something for nothing every now and then. :f_love:

      Hi molywop,

As per what Waiboy stated, here's a useful link for you:

      In particular the following section:

      31. Occasionally, due to technical difficulties, a tournament may be cancelled. Depending on the tournament's status at the time of this cancellation, Full Tilt Poker will do the following:

      * 31.1. If a tournament is voided before it starts - Players will have their buy-ins and fees returned in the same currency they used to enter the tournament (real money, Tournament Tickets, etc.), unless they entered the tournament through a satellite, in which case they will be refunded the standard buy-in for the tournament.

      * 31.2. If the tournament had not yet reached the money - All players still in the tournament at the time of the cancellation will be refunded their tournament buy-in and tournament fee. Players will have their buy-ins refunded in the same currency they used to enter the tournament (real money, Tournament Tickets, etc.), unless they earned their entry through a satellite, in which case, they will be refunded the standard buy-in for the tournament. In addition, the buy-ins of players already eliminated as well as the remainder of any Cashout pool from the tournament will be divided up and distributed to the remaining players, based on their chip counts. Guarantees will be included in the player payouts. However, any money added to the prize pool that is not part of a guarantee will not be included in the player payouts.

      * 31.3. If the tournament had reached the money - All players still in the tournament at the time of the cancellation will have their tournament fee refunded and be awarded with the next guaranteed payout. In addition, the remaining prize pool (and Cashout pool where applicable) will be distributed amongst the surviving players based on their chip counts.
Copied & pasted from a previous thread.

      Best regards,

      Bart
