      Hello guys...

I´m pretty sure I played hand 1 right.
I´m not so sure about hand 2 though, because of the ugly flop.
I would very much like some opinions.

I have no readings on the guys , because we had played only a dozen hands or so in both cases.

      Hi Gungunhana!

I think you played both hands well. In hand 1 you could make a smaller valuebet on the river, but if you are sure that your opponent calls this huge overbet it's ok to play it that way. If he hit his straight in hand 2: so be it. You cannot fold your set here. Too often you will see two pairs here.

      Good luck at the tables!

(Hand 1) I don't think that this overbet on the river makes any sense. What should he call you with?

      (Hand 2) Well played.

      Hi gutshotstraightdraw!

He already called two big bets on the flop and on the turn. That indicates that he hit something and is willing to pay. Sometimes these big overbets make sense (especially against calling stations)

      Good luck at the tables!
