Preflop, would you 3bet or call? If I 3bet and he 4bets, what should I do? I expected some good aces, like AQ+, maybe even AJ, to be in his range, so decided to call and go broke if I flop an overpair. Don't like the call much, but in fact don't like any option

Flop, I expected him to bet his whole range, so I checked
Turn, when he didn't bet, I thought he didn't have anything, and if so, the turn card didn't change it. I don't need to protect the hand, so checked again to induce a bluff. He was bound to believe I was weak :) He didn't bite again
River, I can't wait any longer and try to extract some value after all

What's the best way to play the hand, in your opinion?

      PF is fine
Unless you have some history with the player it is not good to shove JJ almost for 200b bb
Since he went pot control on the flop I think he is going to call turn bet if you make it 2$ and when Q hits I think you can make again 2/3 betsize bet, since his hand is likely AK
If you didn´t bet the turn then pomming river is fine. You can consider going to c/rai, since I think his hand is very often AK that he should valuebet river
