I don't like the way you played your hand.
You have to ask yourself why you 3-bet oop with AQs AND didn't contibet on the nearly perfect board??
Your hand looks exactly what it is like ATo. And a good regular can either bet 3 streets for value or make you fold the best hand.
So I'd contibet to 8-9$ for sure.
If he happens to have AJ, AK or even JJ then it's a cooler.
As played it's tough on river but fold should be ok, as you just have a bluff catcher because I doubt that he calls Ax with x < Q to your 3-bet preflop.

      Best regards,

If you want to turn AQ into bluff catcher at that point, you can do it, but prepare then calling down :)
I think you see KT, Jx or sometimes even Ax a lot of times
Reason why good player would bet on the turn is that he would going to barrel river quite often with bluff (and of course also his value hands, like AJ+)
You can c-bet flop and then decide if you get raised, but I think you don´t get do that too often, so you can b/c flop, likely c/c turn and then evaluate river if he is going to shove, but consider it is Axx baord I think players usually doesn´t raise there even not with flushdraws.
