My intial plan was bet small flop, bet small turn, and get it in on the river. I did this to get a spazzy call from a AK or AQ. Once he raised me on the flop, I was thinking maybe he made a bad preflop call with AJ, or maybe he had JJ+, or maybe a pure bluff. I decided to check the turn in order to give villian rope if he was bluffing. Since he checked i thought he most likely had a hand that had showdown value and would therefore check behind on the river. I think the river shove for value was absolutly neccassary.
