new software - download issue

      i'm trying to download the new software to try, and naturally want to use PS.com as my affilliate. on the PS.com page, it simply says download using the link provided, however that still has the old software on it.

      how can i download the new software to try, and make sure my account will be linked with my PS.com account?

      I just tried it and we are offering already the new software. You can download the file from our download guide by following the instructions:
      download guide 888poker

      Do not forget to delete your cookies first.

      the link on the page you just sent me to is the wrong one... it links to

      http://www.pokerstrategy.com/888-pacific-poker/link/download/

      which downloads pacificpoker.exe, which installs the old version.

      Yes, it links to pacificpoker.exe but it is the new software. Just try it to install. You will see, that it is the new one :)

      i did try to install, it installed then said i had to get the new software :-s which i've done, i've made a play money account but dont want to deposit until i'm sure it'll be tracked here

      That is really strange. I will ask my colleagues why you still download the old software. As written I just tried it and got the new software. ?(

      OK I received some input from my colleagues:

      Is it possible that you have installed the old version without deleting it? Please uninstall the old software and try it again.

      u ended up using the link on the 888 page, so i guess i'll need to uninstall everything, and make a new account? or is there a way to check if the one i made somehow got tracked anyway?

      No, we just see it when you already played hands there.

      well, 888 just lost a potential player...

      sent them an email regarding if my account was tracked through ps.com... here's the response

      thanks, but no thanks... if your not willing to take 2 seconds to check if i'm tracked or not, i'm not going to take 2 seconds to deposit money onto your crappy site...

      Thanks, but to be honest, any site that's not willing to help people out before they deposit is probably scaring away the fish through their customer support... i'll take my $1000's of rake and put it elsewhere ;)
